Description Of Unidirectional Carbon Fiber Fabric:

BYFabric-300UC CF S is a high-strength, high-modulus unidirectional carbon fiber fabric.

When laminated with epoxy resin adhesive, it forms Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) laminates for structural reinforcement.

Carbon fiber delivers not only exceptional strength and elastic modulus but also lightweight durability.

Initially adopted in aerospace and automotive industries, it has been embraced by sports equipment and machinery manufacturing.

In recent years, it has gained widespread use as an alternative reinforcement for concrete structures in:

- Highway/railway infrastructures

- Bridge piers & tunnel supports

- Seismic retrofitting of buildings

Currently, its application is being explored for structural retrofitting of highway bridges to increase load capacity.

Construction Reinforcement Operation Instructions

300g 12k Unidirectional Carbon Fiber Fabric

Carbon Fiber Fabric Installation Procedure:

01

Surface Preparation

Remove concrete coatings using a grinder, then polish the surface.

Round all sharp edges (radius ≥20mm).

02

Layout Marking

Ensure the concrete surface is clean and dry, then mark layout lines per design.

03

Primer Application

Apply primer adhesive uniformly on the concrete surface.

04

Putty Leveling (If Required)

Fill irregularities with putty for smooth substrate.

05

Fabric Cutting

Cut carbon fiber fabric to specified dimensions per design drawings.

06

Resin Mixing

Weigh and mix impregnating resin at exact ratio.
Stir until color-uniform; avoid air bubbles.

07

Impregnation Resin Coating

Apply resin after primer dries (or directly if primer is omitted).

08

Fabric Installation

Lay fabric onto resin-coated surface.
Smooth from center to edges without wrinkles.

09

Bubble Elimination & Second Coating

Roll fabric to remove air pockets.
Apply second resin coat until full saturation is achieved.
Repeat Steps 5–9 for additional layers.
